Biography

A classically trained actor (MFA) and actor combatant, Hollis has played leads in regional and off-Broadway theatre, specializing in Shakespeare.(Chicago Shakespeare, The Old Globe, Colorado Shakespeare, Alabama Shakespeare, Portland Center Stage, etc.) On CBS, she's been a recurring guest star Judge on Bull, the President of Ireland on Blue Bloods and a Senator on Netflix' House of Cards. She has narrated more than 299 books for Harper, Brilliance, Penguin Random House, Podium Audio, Tantor, Audible, Highbridge, ACX and more. She specializes in dialects, (US, UK, Europe and Ireland), fantasy, paranormal women's fiction, cozy mysteries, comedy and complex language. Hollis won an ACX/Audible/AudioFile Narration Contest and has been happily telling stories ever since, recording in her home studio, Three Swords Studio. Proud co-author of her mom Dee Maltby's epic fantasy series, The Magic of Larlion, she lives in the NYC area with her husband Mark and very spoiled cat, Minnie.
