A classically trained actor (MFA) who fights with swords, Hollis has played leads in regional and off-Broadway theatre, specializing in Shakespeare.(Chicago Shakespeare, Old Globe, Colorado Shakespeare, Alabama Shakespeare etc.) On CBS, she was a recurring guest star on Bull and the President of Ireland on Blue Bloods. Hollis has narrated more than 295 books for Harper, Brilliance, Penguin Random House, Podium Audio, Tantor, Audible, Highbridge, ACX and more. She specializes in dialects, (US, UK, Europe and Ireland), fantasy, paranormal women's fiction, cozy mysteries, comedy and complex language. She won an ACX/Audible/AudioFile Narration Contest and has been happily telling stories ever since, recording in her home studio, Three Swords Studio. Proud co-author of her mom Dee Maltby's epic fantasy series, The Magic of Larlion, she lives in the NYC area, runs, cycles, and is a die-hard Cleveland baseball fan.
Mark has played Shakespeare clowns in regional theatres nationwide and appeared on television and in films. His screenplay, The Girl Who Shot Digger Dean, was a semifinalist in Creative Screenwriting Magazine's 2023 Unique Voices Competition. Mackenzie Phelps, his comic noir podcast with a modern feminist twist, advanced to the second round of the Austin Film Festival. He coaches dialects, choreographs stage combat, and tutors students in writing and English at Hudson County Community College. He has an MFA in Acting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and certified as a stage-combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors.
